Nikon appeals against COMCO decision

On 28th November 2011, the Swiss Nikon subsidiary was fined CHF 12.5 million by the Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO) for restricting parallel imports of imaging products into Switzerland. This is the largest fine ever handed out by COMCO for entering into unlawful vertical agreements. COMCO initiated its investigation against Nikon in spring 2010 by way of a dawn raid. In February 2012, COMCO published its decision on its website.

Nikon AG has appealed against COMCO's decision to the Federal Administrative Court.

Nikon is represented by Froriep Renggli. The Froriep Renggli team is led by Dr. Roger Staub and Boris Wenger.
