Frédéric’s practice focuses mainly on intellectual property, new technologies and commercial transactions.

Frédéric has been a partner at our Geneva office since 2011. He is a highly experienced litigation lawyer in all fields of intellectual property, including unfair competition, and has extensive experience in complex non-contentious intellectual property matters. He advises on licence and assignment agreements, film production agreements, sponsorship, endorsement and product-placement agreements, IT-related transactions, research collaborations, development contracts and technology transfers.

His one-year secondment to the fully integrated in-house IP team of a major player in the luxury goods industry gave him in-depth knowledge of the legal and business needs of in-house counsels and a pragmatic approach to providing a wider range of protection, exploitation and enforcement options.

Frédéric is recommended by Legal 500 as "knowledgeable and business-minded" and has been named an “IP Star” by Managing Intellectual Property magazine. World Trademark Review's WTR 1000 2016 reveals he "has been involved in some of the most cutting-edge new technologies matters of the moment".

After obtaining a French Bachelor of Laws degree in 1999 and a Master of Laws degree in intellectual property and new technologies in 2000, both from the University of Grenoble, France, Frédéric completed his studies at the University of Geneva in 2002 and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2004. His working languages are French and English.

Frédéric is a member of the Geneva Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association, l'Association Romande de Propriété Intellectuelle (AROPI), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Licensing Executives Society (LES) and currently Vice-Chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA).
