Julie Wynne panelist at the first Philanthropy Impact event in Geneva

06 November 2017

Julie Wynne, partner of Froriep and chair of the Geneva branch of Philanthropy Impact will speak at the first Philanthropy Impact event in Geneva.

The Philanthropy lunch organised in collaboration with the Geneva Centre for Philanthropy will focus on IMPACT MEASUREMENT – WHAT'S NEW? It will be held on Tuesday 21 November 2017 from noon to 2pm at Uni Mail, 40, bd Pont-d’Arve, 1205 Geneva.

Philanthropists have always been key enablers for charitable, health, scientific, cultural and humanitarian initiatives across the world with their donations and sponsorships. Nowadays in a period of serious challenges, both in terms of natural disasters, wars and migration, and scarcity of resources, there is a strong need for philanthropists to develop an impact measurement strategy to ensure that their philanthropic actions are efficient and focused in order to deliver better social outcomes.

This Philanthropy Lunch will be an opportunity to consider how analytical thinking can be applied to philanthropic giving and how to move toward higher-impact philanthropy. The panel and audience will look at best practices in the field of impact measurement and provide some insights on how you, as philanthropists or as their advisors, should be thinking about measurement in your organisations.
