Melina's practice focuses on intellectual property law, unfair competition law and litigation. She also advises on commercial transactions.
She advises mainly on license agreements, technology transfers and other IP-transactions. Melina has also expertise in contentious intellectual property matters.
Melina joined our firm as an associate in 2013, having already trained with us for one year and a half.
She graduated from the universities of Basel and Geneva (magna cum laude) in 2011 with a bilingual Master of Laws degree. In the same year she completed a Certificate in Transnational Law, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Legal Studies (Ecole d’Avocature). She was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2013. Melina graduated from Stanford Law School in 2017 with a LL.M. in Law, Science and Technology (Fulbright Scholar). During that year, she was an International Trademark Association (INTA) Student Ambassador and was awarded the INTA Annual Meeting Scholarship.
Her working languages are French and English, and she also has good knowledge of German and Greek.
Melina is a member of the Geneva Bar Association and INTA.
