Froriep Renggli team wins important CAS doping case for Andrus Veerpalu

Froriep Renggli's Dr Lucien W. Valloni and Dr Thilo Pachmann won an important landmark case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) for Estonian cross-country skier Andrus Veerpalu, who won numerous professional competitions during his career, including two Olympic gold medals.

CAS lifted a three-year ban on Veerpalu and ruled that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) approved human growth hormone test does not have reliable decision limits. This leading decision has major impacts on the way WADA has to define these decision limits in the future.

This is a major victory for the right of all athletes to a fair trial in doping proceedings.
