Lunch with Purpose – Webinar Series 2021 | 16 June 2021
FRORIEP and Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd., invite you to join us for the second episode of our “Lunch with Purpose – Webinar Series 2021,” where we take a closer look at some of the new trends shaping the fast-evolving sector of philanthropy and how charitable foundations are participating in this transformation.
Sustainable investing has become of great interest to foundations who are seeking to use their assets to support the foundation’s purpose and achieve positive impact. Moreover, organised philanthropy is playing a significant role in the development of this field by deploying a range of mechanisms to bring private capital to public good. However, measuring and reporting the social and environmental performance of these underlying investments have been a recurring challenge for philanthropic practitioners and investors alike. In this context, it is essential to have access to the right tools and knowledge in order to make informed investment decisions that render positive impact.
In this second session, we will provide participants with an overview of the mechanisms at their disposal to have real-world impact. Join us for an interactive and practical workshop with the participation of James Gifford from Credit Suisse’s Sustainability Strategy, Advisory and Finance department, Simon Wohlgensinger from Credit Suisse’s Impact Advisory department and Florian Heeb from the University of Zurich’s Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth. Julie Wynne from FRORIEP will conclude the seminar held in English on 16 June and Catrina Luchsinger, also from FRORIEP will conclude the german speaking webinar on 22 June 2021.
