Denise Wohlwend

Denise Wohlwend's practice focuses on public and civil litigation and arbitration.

Prior to joining Froriep in 2019, Denise Wohlwend worked as a trainee and interim clerk at the Cantonal Court of St. Gallen and as a trainee lawyer at a St. Gallen based business law firm. From 2012 to 2016, she was a Swiss National Science Foundation Doctoral Student at the Chair of Public International Law and European Law of the University of Fribourg.

Denise Wohlwend obtained her Master of Law degree from the University of Fribourg in 2012 (including a semester abroad at the University of Glasgow) and defended her doctoral thesis in international law at the same university in 2018. During and after her doctoral studies, she was a visiting researcher at Oxford University (2014-2015) and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg (2018). She was admitted to the Bar in 2018.

Denise Wohlwend's working languages are German, French, English and Spanish.
